Logistic Operations Manager

Help us drive logistics excellence by leading passionate teams and streamlining operations for world class customer experiences.

Whiteaway Group started with a simple idea, a commitment to our customers, and with a passion for digital innovation. Today, we’re a successful retailer, selling and delivering household appliances across Scandinavia. We’re change-makers at heart – it’s the very core of everything we do.

We are looking for a hands-on Logistic Operations Manager to lead our logistics team, drive efficiency, and foster partnerships. You’ll join the Logistics & Customer Care department with the responsibility for our Logistic Operations team and Returns & Claims team.

Essentially, you'll play a key role in ensuring smooth operations, optimising processes, and delivering outstanding service to our stakeholders.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

  • Lead and manage the Logistic Operations team, including 1 teamlead and 8 Logistic specialists as direct reports, and additional 3 team members in Returns & Claims.
  • Set strategic direction and motivate the team to achieve quarterly performance goals.
  • Collaborate closely with key stakeholders in Tech, Customer Care, Finance, and Purchasing to streamline operations and enhance communication.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with external warehouse and delivery providers.
  • Identify and implement improvements to key logistics processes for greater efficiency and performance.

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong understanding of Supply Chain with a particular focus on logistics processes.
  • You may have experience in a similar position, or you could be a talented specialist ready to take on greater responsibility in your first managerial role.
  • Results-oriented with excellent prioritisation skills to stay focused on the end goal.
  • Naturally proactive, with a proven track record of delivering strong results through optimisations.
  • A true team player who motivates and engages employees in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • An effective communicator, maintaining the right level of information between the team and key stakeholders, in both written and spoken communication.

We like to think we have quite an amazing workplace, including:

  • A dynamic and international environment with room for you to be you,
  • Great opportunities for your own professional development and for you to make an impact,
  • A flat, informal organisation with a high degree of independence and short decision-making processes,
  • Attractive settings for the job, to mention some: flexible work hours, health care, lunch scheme, Friday breakfast, gym, and great social events.

Whiteaway Group is an ambitious and successful E-commerce and retail business in rapid growth. Through a number of online shops and the franchise chains Skousen and Tretti we sell white goods and premium products for the home – to customers in all of Scandinavia. The idea for Whiteaway Group arose in the backroom of a Danish kitchen store. The foundation was innovation, business acumen and excellent customer experience. And it still is. Many years later we are the leading supplier in Scandinavia in our field and we are almost 300 dedicated employees working from offices in Aarhus and Stockholm.
