Finance Manager – AP & AR
Are you passionate about numbers, structure, and making things run smarter? Do you have experience handling financial challenges and do you want to play a key role in an ambitious finance team? Then this could be the next step in your career.
The role
As our new Finance Manager, you’ll join a finance department with more than 20 talented and motivated colleagues across salary, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and store finance. In this role, you will specifically be responsible for the accounts receivable and accounts payable team consisting of 10 employees in total. You will become part of a management group together with the store Finance Manager and the salary team lead, referring to the Head of Group Finance. Together, we all support the Group’s business units and handle financial and accounting matters across our many legal entities. We’re responsible for annual reports, monthly closings, consolidations, and financial statements under both IFRS and the Danish Financial Statements Act.
On top of the day-to-day tasks, you’ll get to work on continuously improving how we do things. We’re a team built on openness, collaboration, and curiosity – and we’d love to have you on board.
What you’ll be doing
- Drive audit processes and prepare material together with the finance team
- Support consolidation of accounts and IFRS reporting for the Group
- Handle and improve VAT reporting for Denmark, Norway, and Sweden
- Take part in month-end closing processes and help make them more efficient
- Drive cash flow forecasting, risk analysis, and optimize bank transfers
- Provide ad hoc accounting advice and guidance to colleagues
- Jump in on various ad hoc tasks
What we’re looking for
To succeed in this role, you’re ambitious, structured, and motivated by creating real impact. You keep a cool overview, work systematically, and enjoy bringing stakeholders along on the journey. Deadlines don’t scare you, and you balance working independently with being a true team player.
We’d love if you have:
- Experience as an auditor or financial controller, including liquidity budgeting and forecasting
- A relevant degree within finance or accounting (e.g., HD(R), cand.merc.aud, or similar)
- A strong analytical mindset and a natural interest in finance and optimization
- The ability to work independently while thriving in a dynamic environment
